CLOSING THOUGHTS

As I continue this article, I’ll try to reinforce all the things a winning trader
will do and compare them with how a losing trader would act in the same
situation. I believe you can learn a lot from watching bad traders and learning
from their mistakes. Don’t take the losing traders’ examples in this article
lightly. Try to find any of their qualities in yourself and think about what
you could do to change them. If you see you have any of these traits make
a note of it and then work hard on fixing it. You could become a much
better trader simply by making fewer bad trades. When I give winning examples,
see how they differ from what you would do, and then see what
you can take away from it to make your trading better.
You’ll also notice that most of this book is not about actual trading but
about things to do during nonmarket hours to make your trading better. I
believe more money can be made by being properly prepared for the market
than by actually trading it. This means doing your homework before
and after the market closes.
